In the Toddler classroom, the staff focuses on emotional goals, social goals, and physical goals which vary depending on the individual child.
Emotionally, we want the child to learn empathy for others, exhibit contrasting moods, show self-confidence, and express themselves appropriately.
Socially, the child should follow simple instructions, influence others, communicate well verbally, explore new things, and demonstrate goodwill instead of aggression.
Physically, toddlers should be able to sit appropriately in a chair, climb steps, march, stack blocks, use a spoon, drink from a cup, and roll, throw, or kick a ball.
