The goals of preschoolers are slightly different from that of the toddlers. Emotionally, preschool children should display a sense of security and self-confidence as well as demonstrating a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
Behaviorally, the children should listen attentively, follow directions well, stay on task and not disrupt class.
Socially, they should cooperate, help others, interact positively, use good manners, and convey thoughts and opinions clearly.
Physically, preschoolers should be able to pour milk into a cup, maintain balance, use playground equipment to climb, swing, slide, etc. independently.
There are also language skills set in place for preschool age children.
